The last day filming on “Dancing on the Edge” today. Very relaxed as there was only myself, Mathew Goode, Mel Smith and Antony Head in today. Mr. Poliakoff manged to forgive me for mangling his lines for the umpteenth time and presented me with a bottle of Champagne, which was very public spirited of him.

I can’t remember when I started on it. sometime in November I think. They still have three more weeks to go. Caroline Quintin hasn’t even turned up to do her bits yet! Despite my initial misgivings about Mr. Poliakoff’s manner, it turned into a very nice experience. Certainly a nice part that’s for sure.

Well next I’m off to Dublin to play a piano teacher in a telly thing. Can’t play the piano for toffee, but they know that.
