Ah yes, Dirk Gently. Sadly, another failed attempt to bring it to the screen.I’m sure it would have worked a treat on radio. Another case, also, of signing up for a job and discovering when you get to set that the part has virtually disappeared. I can’t say I’m proud of my fleeting contribution to the piece. Having said that, I thought Steve was great fun and very inventive and the director and producer had real faith in the project.
