Change of Tardis.
Four years ago, my father died. Thankfully, in his sleep, of a massive coronary heart attack. Good on him! Not so good for my poor mother who was in bed with him. Be that as it may, And, being British, we will leave that aside. The thing is…He left me his car. Now, I have to confess to being rather sluggish when it comes to modes of transport…Well, to driving at any rate. Like most of...

Sorry, no prizes. Especially as you had to google. “The way to the stars” is a fabulous film. Well it would be with a screenplay by Rattigan. A war film with no war in it- Very British. It was the film version of “The treasure of Sierra Madre” I was thinking of. Good of you to…

I wish to say thank-you for replying to my question I loved reading it, I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to reply back but here goes.

And if you haven’t read the book of “The...
Hero worship.
I had a re-call today for a thing called ‘Dancing on the edge’. It’s by Stephen Polliakov, an undiscovered hero of modern writing. He was there and we talked so much about stuff that they ended up 45 minutes behind schedule. I don’t think I’ll get the part but it was worth it for the chat. Andy Pryor was casting and we had a chat about Dr Who, as he does a lot of them...
Orange you in this?

Sing!?!
Today, at 12.00 GMT. Sir Christopher Bland stands down as chairman of the Royal Shakespeare Company. We both arrived at about the same time (2003) and have enjoyed many a good dinner & shared a few good wines (He has an excellent cellar) together. He has been a very successful chairman, leading the company into a new ‘golden age’ and will be a hard act to follow.
Last night we had...
Audition time. →
In a cupboard in the Stern Studios in Budapest, I put an audition on tape for “All Men’s Dead”. Strangely, I got the job.
undercover-angel-girl asked: Do you think Benny will ever really forgive Brax for the things he did to her, or will it always be at the back of her mind?
undercover-angel-girl asked: I was wondering; when we last see Brax in the Gallifrey series and he meets Benny for the first time, although she already knows him. Does that plot line get picked up or is it just there in case someone wants to use it one day?
You will excuse me...
Dear followers,
You will, please, excuse my infrequent responses. I like being on Tumblr, and thank you for following me. But I often find myself just enjoying REAL life. So, if I don’t get back to you swiftly, it’s only because I am occupied in the REAL world.
But at times like this, when the rain is falling- well it is here in Warwickshire- Then I get back to you. I hope you...
Looking for Vi
I went on Tuesday night to see a short play at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. It was called “Looking for Vi”. I went because my mother was playing Vi. I hadn’t been paying much attention to the program and was surprised at the interval when Mark Wright came up and shook me vigorously by the hand and told me he had wrote the play and reminded me that he had written the...
undercover-angel-girl asked: Did you have much involvment in the Dead and burried animated adventure? Was it any different to when you are doing the audio's. When you have done animated movies before, is it harder or easier than the audio's
undercover-angel-girl asked: Do you think Brax would ever settle down with anyone or is it not his style? Was his daughter maggie loomed and do you think Brax cared about her at the end, even though it was too late.
undercover-angel-girl asked: When you are filming and there is lots of you, like in Gallifrey series 4. Do you often do different days from some of the other actors. How long does each story/box set take to do? Like is it months after you have filmed it before it goes into being released
